Hope you are staying safe and holding up well during these tough times.
Everyone is trying their best to cope with it, finding new hobbies, new ways to do things, fun activities to spend time doing online with friends and family.
In this blog post, I’m going to share a few of my favorite things (new and old alike) to do during quarantine, some help keep me educated/informed, some I enjoy doing for pure fun, and some are just my favorite things to do in general and which I found time for in quarantine.
So read along for a few of my favorite things to do lately, maybe you can find something here to try out for yourself or with friends and family! 😊
Sorry for the long disappearance, I had so many occasions to come up here and write, I had so many blog posts prepared (still prepared), but I did not put them up.
The reason why I was away from blogging is because I lost motivation and felt that after being away for so long, no one would want to read what I write anymore. But I forgot one important thing.
The reason why my blog was loved to begin with in/from 2008 to 2012-ish, is because I did it because I loved it, because I put my heart and soul into it and didn’t care about anything else, as long as I tried my best and kept the love and support and the criticism in mind, I kept going for it.
Some things happened yes, bad things from 2013 till now, but life shouldn’t stop and will not stop at anything. and we tend to forget how to be ourselves and to love the things that truly matter to as like before. No one should feel like this or like they should give up on what they love doing because of any exterior reason.
So, after thinking it over and over for the past couple of months, I decided to give it another try, be me, write about the things I love, maybe a couple more guides, the things/apps/services I tried and what I think of them. I’m dedicating my full time into this, because I want to see the potential I have and how far I can grow it and go with it. This is what I love doing and what I want to dedicate my time to, and I want to make it work.
I genuinely hope this time I’ll stick around for much longer, and that you guys will stick around and be patient with me as I go through this new chapter of my life ^-^.
If you have any advice/request/questions, don’t hesitate to leave them, as always <3.
This favorites blog post will be the combination of the last two months’ (This month’s favorites will be coming soon.), since I didn’t have time to really do anything besides getting better (anxiety+ulcer are not a good combination…) and trying to make some advancements with my thesis (which is a serious stress source for me).
This time, we’ll have a bit of a change with books, some nice music, quotes and musicals!I want to say thank you, to everyone who commented on the last post, those who sent me private DMs on Instagram/Twitter (they were quite a few to my surprise!) and for the retweets and shares. Your positive and amazing feedback was such a big help for me to continue to do what I love and what I’ve always loved doing all along 😃 .
I hope you had a great 2017, and even if it was bad, I’m sure you still can find good in it, lessons you learned that helped you grow up. In everything bad that happens, there’s definitely something good to come out of it, even if we don’t see it right away. So stay positive!
Instead of publishing the review of the Gear VR (which was highly requested, and is delayed because I found out I didn’t try everything and I wasn’t happy about the article), or my TOP 5 Apps to use (which is also mostly ready), I thought it’d be better to start off 2018 looking at what I learned from 2017, and my plans (the ones I can actually think of right now) for 2018.
It’s so nice to be back and writing again, it has been a long time, sorry for keeping you waiting this long and thank you for your undying patience and loyalty :), it’s an honor to have such a great family online <3.
So, to kick off the blogging season on my blog, I thought I’d start with something light and fun to read. This way you, my readers, will get to know me better other than the geeky Randa, and at the same time this is a way to re-open the blog :).
